Hiring Terms

  1. Equipment remains the property of Executive Linen Hire Ltd.
  2. Orders must be placed by letter, telephone, fax or by email. All orders will be confirmed by email.
  3. Hire rates are for a 3 day period allowing delivery and collection. Additional hire days and late returns will be charged at 25% per day thereafter.
  4. All goods to be returned in the good condition. Any shortages, breakages or damage to goods will be charged at our current replacement charge.
  5. Prices subject to alteration without notice. All prices plus VAT at prevailing rate.
  6. We require payment in full before delivery by either cheque, BACS or credit/debit card over the phone. Use of credit cards will incur a 3% service charge of the total invoice balance.
  7. A delivery and collection service is available, price on application. Deliveries/collections are based on our drivers easy access to a ground floor locations only – if this is not adhered to we must know in advance and additional charges will be incurred.
  8. Deliveries and collection should be overseen by the hirer or a representative. Should this not be possible we would ask the hirer to accept our assessment of any damage or losses which will be invoiced directly to the hirer after the event.
  9. We will not be liable for any delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
  10. The hirer is responsible for any loss/damage to goods for the entirety of the hire period. It is your responsibility to ensure that goods are fully covered by insurance with regard to theft, damage and public liability risks.
  11. Stains and marks on the table linen that can`t be removed, will result in charging a full replacement cost. The same applies to burns and holes in tablecloths.
  12. The hirer will be charged accordingly for any carrying boxes lost or damaged.
  13. Hire items damaged or broken as a result of not packing in the original boxes will be charged for. Cups and glasses need to be emptied before putting into the boxes.
  14. Claims for refunds after completion of hire, on the grounds that some of the equipment was not used, will not be considered.
  15. The hirer is responsible for the safe handling of all equipment and in accordance with the safety operating instructions provided.
  16. If the hired equipment is stored or used outdoors, the hirer is fully responsible for any damage done by the weather or other causes.
  17. LPG kitchen equipment is for outdoor use only. We will not deliver or install equipment to venues we consider unsafe or a health and safety risk.
  18. All equipment has been tested and safety checked before delivery – however in the event of any uncertainty please contact our office immediately before attempting use.
  19. In the event of a breakdown of unsatisfactory working of hired equipment, Executive Linen Hire should be notified of the fault. No attempt should be made to repair the equipment unless express permission is granted by Executive Linen Hire.
